The apostolic ministry is given to help prepare the called of God, the chosen and others from far, and to clear the way for the prophetic ministry to be fully restored to the Church; and to experience the real New Testament Church life as God intended it to be. The office of the apostle is crucial. No government has control over it or the Church of God, the Church is autonomous. Out of this all other ministries in the kingdom were born. Some of the early apostles lost their lives at early stage; while some got fed up along the way. Others lost their family and property for the sake of the gospel. For example, missionaries John Calvin of Presbyterian Church; and John Wesley of Methodist Church died in Gold Coast due to malaria from mosquito bites. Those who are highly favored lived well in ministry, and died at old age and left behind a legacy. Apostolic ministry is not a thing that we should trivialize. Personally I see apostolic ministry as a great favor, and as a tough battle zone. My prayer is that God will continue to give deeper insights to his people and divine understanding of the apostolic ministry so that those who are favored with such a ministry will be careful and mindful of how to run it.
